20,426 prizes will be awarded, valued at $14,616,140.75 (including all taxes and freight).
Only 500,000 tickets will be sold.

Eligibility

The following individuals and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of Deloitte LLP and its affiliates; employees of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd., the NHL, NHL Enterprises Canada LP, the NBA, NBA Properties Inc., NBA Media Ventures LLC, Argonauts Holdings Limited Partnership, the CFL, CFL Enterprises Canada LP.; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). Tickets must be ordered and delivered within the province of Ontario.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to allow us, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and its licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, the right, if you are a prize winner, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph and likeness as a prize winner in any means required by the terms of our lottery license and/or that we consider appropriate for purposes of administering and promoting the lottery, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

Tickets

Tickets are $100 each or a 3-Pack* for $250 or a 5-Pack* for $375 or a 10-Pack* for $700. Tickets numbers will be issued in sequential order. *Guidelines for purchasing a 3-Pack or 5-Pack or a 10-Pack are as follows:

  • Only ONE method of payment.
  • Only ONE mailing address.
  • Only ONE envelope will be mailed containing all ticket numbers.
  • Up to THREE names may be recorded on a ticket.

* All tickets in a pack must contain the same information.

The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket/s; however, participants do not need their ticket/s in hand in order to be included in the respective draw/s. No refunds will be issued after commencement of the draws. Ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

Official tickets will be delivered to the customer via email and/or letter mail. For all ticket orders where a valid email address is provided, the official ticket receipt will be provided by email within 3-5 business days. Where no email address is provided, official ticket receipts will be mailed. Ticket purchasers may request a physical copy of their ticket(s) at the time of purchase or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-542-8813. Physical ticket(s) will be mailed to the address provided at the time of the order within 7-10 business days.

Draw Order

The first draw will be for the Loyalty Prizes. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, August 30, will qualify for the Loyalty Prize Draws. The draws (10 prizes) will take place on September 11, 2019 at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the VIP Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, September 20, 2019 will qualify for the VIP Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on October 2, at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the Bonus Prize. Only tickets purchased by Midnight, October 11, will qualify for the Bonus Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on October 22, 2019 at approx. 8:00am.

* In the event that all tickets are sold by the Early Bird Prize Deadline of Midnight, November 15, then draws for all remaining prizes will be made on November 26, 2019 at approx. 8:00am at the offices of Deloitte. The first draw would be for the Early Bird Prize, followed by draws for all remaining prizes starting with the lowest valued prize to the $6 Million Grand Prize.

The four (4) top valued prize winners and the Early Bird Prize winner will be announced live on CP24 on November 28, 2019 between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome located at 421 Wedgewood Drive, Oakville ON L6J 4S3.

** In the event tickets remain after the Early Bird Prize Deadline, then just the Early Bird draw will take place on November 26 at approx. 8:00am at the offices of Deloitte, with the announcement being made on CP24 Breakfast on November 28, 2019 between 5:30am and 9:00am at 299 Queen Street W. Toronto, M5V 2Z5. Marketing will continue to the Final Ticket Sales Deadline of Midnight, November 29. All remaining prize draws will be made on December 10, 2019 at approx. 8:00am at the offices of Deloitte starting with the lowest valued prize to the $6 Million Grand Prize.

The four (4) top valued prize winners will be announced live on CP24 on December 11, 2019 between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome located at 421 Wedgewood Drive, Oakville ON L6J 4S3.

Tickets ordered before the Loyalty Prize deadline will be eligible for all 20,426 draws. Tickets ordered after the Loyalty Prize deadline but before the VIP Prize deadline will be eligible for 20,416 draws. Tickets ordered after the VIP Prize deadline but before the Bonus Prize deadline will be eligible for 20,415 draws. Tickets ordered after the Bonus Prize deadline but before the Early Bird Prize deadline will be eligible for 20,414 draws. Tickets ordered after the Early Bird Prize deadline will be eligible for the remaining 20,413 draws.

Draw Control

Ticket Fulfillment and Draw Control by Deloitte LLP.

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by the professional services firm of Deloitte LLP and under licensing approval by the licensing body (AGCO).

All draws will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG) under the supervision of Deloitte LLP. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws.

All draws will take place at the offices of Deloitte LLP, Bay Adelaide Centre, 8 Adelaide Street West., Suite 200, Toronto, ON, M5H 0A9.

The records of Deloitte LLP shall be deemed correct and final.

Prize Winner Notification

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and where to claim their prizes. A searchable list of all prize winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com. If all draws are completed on November 26, 2019 winners will be published on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Prize Claim

Prizes will be awarded to the individual(s) named on the official ticket. Prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticketholder. It is the responsibility of the primary ticketholder to allocate the prize if necessary. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated.

+++ Prize values stated are retail value as of date contracts were negotiated with suppliers and are independently verified by prize suppliers, as per AGCO rules.

Custom grand prize homes may include many custom upgrades, unique features and the full retail replacement value of all of these features including appliances and finishes, flooring, landscaping etc. Real estate retail prize values are calculated based on contracted purchase price and include land purchase price, Value of home construction, materials, labor, permits, all taxes applicable including full HST, cost of site preparation, landscaping, carrying costs, furnishings, decorating.

Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.

Winners of real estate prizes will be required to sign a Full & Final Release prior to the home being transferred.

Prize values include taxes and freight, where applicable.

The Loyalty Prize comprises: ten (10) prize vacations to Las Vegas for 4 nights for 2 adults, with Grand Canyon Helicopter Skywalk Express Ride. Total Loyalty Prize Value: $5100.

The Ultimate Fan VIP Prize comprises: one (1) prize consisting of: (i) one (1) pair of 2019/2020 Toronto Maple Leafs season seats (including playoffs) located in the “Red” arena seating area; (ii) one (1) pair of 2019/2020 Toronto Raptors season seats (including playoffs) located in the “Side Prime” arena seating area; (iii) one (1) pair of 2020 Toronto FC season tickets (including playoffs) located in the “North East Field Side” seating area (including BMO Club fees which provides club access and all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages within the club area).; (1) pair of the 2020 Toronto Argonauts season seats (including playoffs*) located on field. Plus 108th Grey Cup Package for two including lower bowl tickets, Hotel for 3 nights and flights from Toronto (iv) $10,000 Cash. Estimated retail value of Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors tickets (including playoffs) is $92,430. Estimated retail value of Toronto FC tickets (including playoffs and club access) package is $8,716. Estimated retail value of Toronto Argonauts tickets (including playoffs and 108th Grey Cup Package) is $15,135.30. Total VIP Prize Value: $126,281.30.

Specific seat locations to be determined by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership. Ticket use subject to applicable venue code of conduct and the terms and conditions on reverse of each ticket. Tickets are available only for the specified season and are non-renewable. Prize recipient shall be responsible for any costs or expenses not specifically described above as being included in the VIP Prize including, but not limited to, transportation to and from the venue, other drinks/meals, gratuities, souvenirs, and all incidental and personal expenses.

* In the event the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC and/or Toronto Argonauts do not qualify for participation in the playoffs or do not complete all applicable stages of the playoffs, the estimated cash value of the unused portion of the prize will be paid to the prize winner by Princess Margaret Lotteries. The 108th Grey Cup Package is non-refundable. VIP Prize must be accepted as awarded. Winner of the VIP Prize will be required to sign a release.

The Bonus Prize comprises: one (1) prize – Noir Condo Unit 616, 87 Peter St, Toronto, fully furnished (value $978,990); a 2020 Lexus UX 250h F Sport (value $49,722.89); $25,000 Cash. Total Bonus Prize Value: $1,053,712.89.

The Early Bird Prize comprises: one (1) prize – Muskoka Lakefront cottage on Waseosa Lake, fully furnished (value $1,284,800.72); $50,000 Cash. Total Early Bird Prize Value: $1,334,800.72.

The $6 Million Grand Prize comprises: one (1) prize – Showhome, 421 Wedgewood Drive, Oakville, fully furnished (value $ 4,852,112.50): a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover TD6 HSE SWB (value $ 153,352.30); $1,000,000 Cash. Total Grand Prize Value: $6,005,464.80.

* Seasonal Occupancy Restrictions apply to the Friday Harbour Resort Condominium Prize. The Unit may not be occupied for more than 185 days consecutively in each calendar year with a minimum unoccupied period of either 65 days or two periods of 35 consecutive days and a maximum aggregate occupancy of 300 days per calendar year.

Vacation prizes will be awarded as cheques payable to the primary ticketholder for the value of the trip as described in the lottery brochure at the time of printing. The prize winner may contact the prize supplier to make travel arrangements should they wish to take the trip as described. There is no requirement that vacation prize funds be used towards a travel purchase.

Prize winners are asked to claim prizes in a timely manner following notification. Any prizes which are not claimed shall be secured for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by the licensing body.

All 50/50 Add-On tickets must correspond to the primary ticketholder’s name in the Princess Margaret Home Lottery database. 50/50 Add-On ticket(s) will not be assigned to an alternate name(s).

50/50 Add-On ticket numbers ordered will be issued in sequential order and will be listed on your Home Lottery Official Ticket receipt and will begin at
5 000 001.

If a ticket order for the Home Lottery is cancelled, any and all 50/50 Add-On tickets ordered with that ticket will also be cancelled.

The Calendar will list one, three or six Calendar ticket numbers.

There are 310 cash prizes (“prizes”) to be awarded with a total prize value of $1,700,000. There are ten (10) Holiday Cash Prizes of $5,000, two hundred (200) Daily Cash Prizes of $1,000, eighty-five (85) Daily Cash Prizes of $10,000 and fifteen (15) Friday Cash Prizes of $40,000.

Draw Order

The 10 draws for the Holiday Cash Prizes of $5,000 will take place approx. 8am on December 13, 2019. Deloitte LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the ten (10) Holiday Cash Prizes to be awarded on December 13, 2019.

The 300 Cash Prizes (200 Daily Cash Prizes of $1,000, 85 Daily Cash Prizes of $10,000 and 15 Friday Cash Prizes of $40,000) will take place on December 20, 2019 at approx. 8:00 am. Deloitte will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the three hundred (300) Cash Prizes to be awarded from December 20, 2019 to March 28, 2020. All winners will be notified in writing within two (2) weeks of the day for which their winning ticket was selected.

Prize Winner Notification

All prize winners will be notified in writing within two (2) weeks of the day for which their winning ticket was selected. Winning results from the Holiday Cash Prizes will be posted on the website at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on December 13, 2019. Winning results for the Daily Bonus Cash Prizes, Daily Cash Prizes and Weekly Cash Prizes will be posted on the website at PrincessMargaretLotto.com every day from December 20, to March 28, 2020. A printed list of winners is available upon request after March 28, 2020. Call 1-800-542-8813 or email pmhlotterycs@mnp.ca.

Prize Claim

Prizes will be awarded to the individual(s) named on the official Calendar ticket. Prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticketholder. It is the responsibility of the primary ticketholder to allocate the prize if necessary. Prizes must be accepted as awarded.

Prize winners are asked to claim prizes in a timely manner following notification. Any prizes which are not claimed shall be secured for a period of six (6) months following the close of the lottery on March 28, 2020. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by the licensing body.
